Water Supply and its infrastructure in the Republic of South Sudan is inadequate and requires urgent improvement. Juba is the capital and largest city of The Republic of South Sudan. The water access coverage in the city is only about 20%.

The oil industry in South Sudan has left a landscape pocked with hundreds of open waste pits, the water and soil is contaminated with toxic chemicals and heavy metals including mercury, manganese, and arsenic.

And in the capital, it is revealed that the people in Juba generate 650g of garbage per person/day, and this is relatively larger than other developing countries.

ZG Water, Waste and Environment Management is a subsidiary firm of Zeregaber General Trading that is a leading distributor of various construction and building material in East Africa. Zeregaber General Trading entered South Sudan in 2011 and has been facing mentioned difficulties in its daily life.
